About Me

After obtaining a degree in Clinical Psychology and spending several years as a mental health professional, I learned how certain life experiences can affect our elder loved ones and can contribute to stress and at times, debilitating anxiety for many.

I previously provided care for one of my own loved ones, who had undergone a quadruple bypass and later lost his balance and suffered a fall. I was eventually awarded legal guardianship by probate court.

Activities included overseeing physical and occupational therapy sessions, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and visits to the local veteran’s facility for medical appointments. We would also often just sit and watch TV shows (Wheel of Fortune was one of our favorites)!

This inspired a desire to continue to offer an empathetic hand in helping others. I have always loved and admired our seniors.  I enjoy conversing with them, hearing their stories, life experiences, and words of wisdom.
